been reading maiden rose after years of forgetting and waiting for chapters... and it has been a good ride. honestly, klaus' initial art style makes him look so goofy but he has his charm, ngl. he gets better 20 years later, so it's all good.

the story can get a bit confusing since we often go back and forth, but i will be honest and say this stuff is good. the worldbuilding is slow but gives you the essentials to understand what's going on (although there's a lot of the usual 'political games' that makes my dead brain work). i should write a review about it soon, since i have my yaoi dungeon open.

very good old yaoi. not always you find a good, historical + military yaoi with a story. maiden rose is good, and the relationship between the main protagonists is tragically beautiful (although it started with the usual yaoi abuse, but it actually explains their relationship and how they got there so LOL).
