nothing much has happened, or maybe my brain has seen everything as something without much value to share, so this entry will be a lot of rambling, maybe!

so yeah, i changed the journal’s layout again, LOL. i feel like a ditto trying to take shape because my mind or artistic side or personality or whatever this is, is very indecisive with what it wants! minimalism, overflow everything with images, 2000s layout, a more modern layout, green color palette, blue color palette… idk. also, i wanted to do a new layout per month, but i barely write entries and i realized that wouldn’t be viable. so, i made another section another, dumbass? to add my favorites of this month. so yay.

i watched “la oficina 2026” a mexican adaptation from the show “the office,” and let me tell you… i didn’t have any expectations for this because every mexican comedy show is horrendous. every new show or movie seems to need (producers’ thoughts, BTW) a nepo baby or a famous comedian that is not funny anymore to make the show successful. i don’t know when producers will realize that mexican media is not popular nor viable because of their ‘featured’ popular actors and actresses that have a career thanks to their parents and not because of their skills…

also, a lot of times this comedy shows just copy paste the american format, which obviously most of the audience are not familiar with, which makes it harder to connect with the material. but, la oficina is a good adaptation, even if you’re not that familiar with the original show, imho. it’s fun, the jokes are too mexican, whitexican and cringy, and it’s funny LOL. all characters are funny, although some of them were very abandoned throughout the show… maybe because only 7 episodes were released. i think they did just a few to see how the reception was. im sure there will be another season, though! the majority loved it, and the ones saying “wasn’t funny” are too few imho.

in other news… there’s no news. remember i said i was going to start reading articles? well, i’ve done it and it’s good! i’ve commited pretty well, maybe i’ve missed two days but that’s all. mostly in spanish, though. and most of them talk about the giant issue we have with the narco… it’s hard to find mexican journalist? websites with articles or essays, though. but i search for some today and bookmarked them for later.

substack… well, i’m reading some articles there since they are short and some of them are entertaining, but, i don’t want to sound rough or something lol but they are so pretentious. sometimes you can tell when someone writes for popularity: their prose is a certain way; their main topic is a popular topic that many depressed young women can relate to; this ~aesthetic~of being a poet nowadays… idk. it’s like after i read the article, it leaves me with nothing? i mean, it’s a social media platform, after all. and maybe i’m too old to romanticize life that way? who knows.

also, i’m going back to reading old yaoi because let’s go to where you thought you were the most happier, right? i started reading maiden rose after years of not doing so since the manga went to a long hiatus, but damn! klaus is as ugly as i remembered him LOL. after i finish this one, i’m unsure if to start okage ga nai or not… i remember it was a funny manga with all of the yaoi stereotypes you can think of. i liked it, though. but i think i'll go for acid town or thight rope... or i should read ai no kusabi novel...

i’m sure i won’t be touching junjou romantica or sekaiichi hatsukoi LOL. i never was interested in those two that much. the only character i liked was yokozawa. he was my favorite character actually LOL. 15 y/o me knew her priorities: miserable men that will only suffer because they know they will never be loved by the person they love. damn! i should make him a page because he deserves it. he was my first whump and i just realized...

i think that's all.
